alright, my friend wants to buy an iPhone. I remember someone saying you can only use a credit card. He wants to know if he can use a debit card.

If your doing prepaid u can use a electronic check since I'm post paid I set my account to auto charge my checking account for my bill whenever it comes.

yes you can use a debit card for purchase and activation. Really anywhere you can use a credit card you can use a debit as well

that will be fine just set for auto payments from your checking account or pay each month using e check. You won't have to pay any phone bill day you start service it will be like a month later and you can pay that way no prob. Only thing you will have to lay for when you first sign up is the equipment.
