iLyrics is now available for the Apple iPhone. It is able to find and save the lyrics of songs on your iPod. It was originally written in Japanese but is now available in English.
It is not available on installer.app as of yet so you will have to use other clients such as Fugu to add the application on to it. Edit: You can get it via installer.app but it comes in Japanese and you have to use iBricker to fix it else wise.
What I did:
-Download this http://lyrics-app.googlecode.com/files/Lyrics.app-touch-v0.021.zip
-Draged and Dropped the Lyrics.app into the /Application folder of the iPhone using Fugu. (If needed I will post how to work Fugu)
-Restarted iPhone.
-Clicked on the Lyrics Application.
-Went to "Lyrics"
-Double click homebutton to go to iPod
-Find a song and play it
-Click home button and go back to Lyrics app
Alternate Way thanks to colombianito
ok...got it to work !!
first off... thanks to zabumafu for bringing it to us...
now...go to instaler, add a source and add this source: http://hpcgi3.nifty.com/moyashi/ipodtouch/repository.cgi
then refresh and go to the multimedia section on the instal part on installer... you should see the ilyric app, install it... atthispoint you have the app in japanese... now... if you want it in english:
download this (http://lyrics-app.googlecode.com/files/Lyrics.app-touch-v0.021.zip) and using ibrickr or whatever program u use to acces the files on ur phone, go to applications/lyrics.app/ make a new forlder named: English.lproj, go to the folder you downloaded above and put the file that is in the folder English.lproj to the folder you've just made on your phone...
restart your phone...
start the ipod, go "home" select lyrics.app, go to lyrics and it should start looking for lyrics... mine didnt find any, but i think now that is just matter of selecting/changing the source where it is looking for the lyrics...
thanks again to the OP and i hope this helped...
It will begin searching and is usually quite fast. It needs Edge/Wifi connection so if no results are found that may be why.
When it finds the lyrics it will save it in your library.
It is a great application and you can find it here.
