Restoring An unlocked Iphone

hey there, i am new to this forum so i thought i start by saying hello to all.
i am using an unlocked iphone v.1.0.2 .
i want to mod it using installer (apptap) but i m scared it might mess it up so i would need a restore..
but the question is if i restore the iphone will the unlock be removed ???
and how do i restore it if i need to ?

your best best bet is to go ahead and just instal the apps you want. As long as you dont restore or upgrade the phone you will be alright. Also check out the search option there are several great ideas in there about this
