yeah that would be a very nice feature. i saw this Helio commercial yesterday with one of their new phones using GPS... i felt sick to my stomach.
how come the terrible phones get some of the best features? . .

If this comes our for the iPhone, which I wouldn't be surprised of, it would kill Navizon.

if this comes to the iphone, which im sure it will since we have a special google maps app, i would actually be GLAD the iphone doesnt have GPS......
The My Location feature "complements" GPS functionality, because it works indoors, doesn't drain the battery as much as GPS does, and is much faster (a few seconds compared with what can be a few minutes on GPS), according to Lee.

That would be cool, but knowing AT&T, I'm expecting a small fee of around 10-20 dollars.

its part of google maps, not ATT(hopefully they dont try to bogart this and make users pay, but who knows). Seems like if youre already paying for data....
glad i have tmobile tho
