ok i need a really good screen protector (i dont want those ugly fingure prints all over my beautiful device) and i want to know any store where i can get one for a good price

Good choice. I've read good things here about Power Support Crystal film for the iPhone.

The iPod touch's screen is rock solid. Except when you start banging on it with rocks. But in normal use, it won't suffer the slightest scratch or damage.

And just a quick tip, Cut your fingernails often.

It helps with the detection of the screen and your finger.

There are pretty decent deals on big bazaar and Amazon. I saw one at the duty free shop too, it was for like $50 each and was a pretty decent screen cover.

Did you have any issues applying one of these.
I have really REALLY good reviews of this type of protector, but I suspect I will make it look like crap when trying to stall it, either not getting out all the bubbles or creases on the rounded corners of a G2 ipod touch. Did you have any issues during installation, or do you have any tips?

I think there have been no issues while installing mine. Its pretty easy. Just do it carefully and properly. Its pretty easy process.

Personally I think the best one out there is the Zagg Invisible Shield. Its a little more expensive but its tough as nails. I was surprised to find that it came with a shield for the back as well which is great since the metalic finish in the back scratches easily. I put mine on right out of the box so it still looks like new. I had one on my Instinct and loved it which is why I bought one for the Touch right away.

The screen is already super tough..I don't think once needs a protector. But its the back which is a real worry..I got mine from GadgetSpamz.com only for $6.99 and the whole ipod touch is protected very well..1/4th of the cost of an invisibleshield.:2cool:
