Awesome new app out by i-App-a-Day. It basically scrolls through everyone's wallpaper and you have the option of setting one as your own by tapping the screen.

I've set a new wallpaper through the app, but it doesn't appear to be saved anywhere. Anyone know if it saves to a temporary folder or something? This would be a great way to build a wallpaper collection. :2cool:

EDIT: Here's a quote from Sean himself:

if I have time today, I’m going to toy with the code a bit (possibly add a save option) - but it’s not looking promising, unfortunately.
It does try to upload every time you start, but there’s a cookie so I can avoid one phone from filling up the system with a ton of dupes. So that part of it isn’t a big deal - although the md5sum idea is a much cooler idea and now I’m kind of upset I’m busy today and might not have time to add it…update:

ok, so I had a few minutes and implemented MD5 on the server side. http://blog.bigzaphod.org/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif Hopefully that will cut down on the dupes of the default wallpapers. It’ll take awhile until the old dupes are thinned out and replaced with new stuff, though.

It's very very cool, but I don't recommend looking through them in public around people who don't really know you as I've seen some porn here and there.

You can save them using the snapshot feature in the dock.app.

When you see one you like, just flick the sunburst and choose snapshot.
It will put it right in your camera roll folder.

When you set any wallpaper, it's saved as LockBackground.png located in: var/root/Libary

Although it looks like the app now has a "save to Camera Roll" feature.

New version allows saving to Camera Roll! Still a lot of porn though, I wish there was a way to have each user state whether or not their wallpaper is explicit and then have the option before you start viewing to disallow explicit content. Does anyone know how to contact the author of i-App a day? Nevermind, I got it sean@spiffytech.com

This app rocks! I've used more than a few of the wallpapers I've seen with this app. Even the porn is (mostly) tasteful.

This app is very cool! What a wealth of wallpapers this is. The only thing I would like is to be able to create a folder in photos and then save them in there, but that's just nitpicking. Overall a fantastic find and app!

Notice that the last post before yours was over a year ago. The app doesn't work anymore. There is a great replacement of it in the App Store, though, I believe it's called Wallpaper. Does the same thing, but costs a dollar or two.
