anyone else get their phone back after it being stolen?

Random email I received today, thought it was cute:

UNDERWEAR IS IMPORTANT!!

Always wear clean underwear in public, especially when working under your vehicle...From the Northwest Florida Daily News comes this story of a Crestview couple who drove their car to Wal-Mart, only to have their car break down in the parking lot.

The man told his wife to carry on with the shopping while he fixed the car in the lot. The wife returned later to see a small group of people near the car. On closer inspection, she saw a pair of male legs protruding from under the chassis.

Although the man was in shorts, his lack of underpants turned private parts into glaringly public ones. Unable to stand the embarrassment, she dutifully stepped forward, quickly put her hand UP his shorts, and tucked everything back into place.

She took a deep breath and stood up boldly to face the crowd.. Shelooked across the hood and found herself staring at her husband, who had been standing idly by.

The mechanic, however, had to have three stitches in his forehead!

NOOOOO! Don't get the flu shot, Aggie!

Actually, I hadn't had the flu in years, and the ONLY year I got it horribly was the year I had the shot. There's so much debate around linking the flu shot to more serious health issues, I'd steer clear. I'm glad you're beginning to feel better, though!

I may not sound like that much, but smoking kills in many other unpleasant ways, like developing emphysema. When you see those people with oxygen at the grocery store, you can bet most of them have destroyed their lungs smoking. It's estimated that 12% of lung cancers are due to 2nd hand smoke.

Well, it means that something is very, very good. 'Grolsch in its original flip-top bottle is the dog's bollocks' means Grolsch is one damn fine lager.

Actually just bollocks is a real useful expression as well - and ironically that one means 'damn' or similar, when things are not good ...

Only dog uglier than that one I've seen was a buddy in London's dog called Chaz. Nobody ever really knew what he was a cross of, but it seemed like there was a fair amount of bear or Yak or something bizarre in there. Thing was mangy, weighed like 300 pounds, was not overly fond of anyone including my buddy and his Dad, and its party trick was to toss its slobber-covered ball right between your legs while you sat on their couch and then get right in front of you, stare you down as to whether you could be quick enough to get the damn ball out of there before ....

This is true as well. But you must admit that half of them came form post wars.

By the way - I see (http://www.everythingicafe.com/forum/off-topic/so-i-m-thinking-of-getting-a-mac-24948.html#3) that both of us start college next year.

amazing stats on the members. It's crazy the number of dead beats there are registered. Think of how this place would be if even 10% of those contributed. Not complaining it's still great, just gets kinda slow in periods like this with nothing new to talk about till June.

You guys wait until you're into middle-age and you'll see no point at all in taking down the Xmas tree.

I realize that. It's uncanny. Anyway, my avatars never last very long. One of you guys is going to make some interesting comment, and it will change. No OJ pic, though, no matter what.

I was the opposite this year. I baught my first house in mid 2007 and didnt realize how much decorations for all of the holidays was gona set me back. I live in a fairly nice subdavision so its expected of me to decorate. Ugh! There is even a contest in December for best Xmas lights. Headless to say I didnt win. I did get a tree this year. Nice twelve footer. Unfortunatly my deco, funds stopes soon after that.
