Erm not this year no, me and my dad just went for one night to geek out really, but i went to every palace last year and the river boat. I love the energy of bangkok, and the whole futuristic-element. Basically I just wanted to go in Pan Tip which is a huge 7-floor computer-fair lol :) And we hit a few malls and the sky train, tuk-tuks etc.

I hope everything turns out O.K. I had mysterious hives for over a year. They would show up at around 3-4 in the afternoon and irritate the crap out of me until bedtime. In the morning they would be nearly gone, only to return at the same time the next day. I spent a year battling that crap. Dermatologist visits, where the doctor had to do all sorts of tests on me to figure out what was wrong. He came to the conclusion that it had to be something I was eating, possibly tomatoes, or a yellow dye in Mountain Dew. So I spent a couple months with varied eating habits to see if I could find what was causing it. On one of my visits to the doctor, I asked him if I might be allergic to cats, and he scoffed at me. He told me that hives were rarely caused by something contacting the skin, but usually due to ingesting an allergen. Well after a year of having severe hives I was done. I was asking myself how long I would be able to continue to live in such a condition. It was affecting my quality of life severely. I went to an air-show, got some sun exposure, and swelled up in my face to where I looked like a lion. I was done. I had severe depression, severe pain and itching, and now I was swelling up like the goodyear blimp. One night while lying in bed I was awoken by a wet feeling. My soft-sided tube waterbed had sprung a leak again. I went to the couch and finished the night there. The next day I opened up the waterbed mattress to find that my water-bed mattress pillows were filled with mold. It had been leaking for a good while, and started to mold on the inside. I never felt the leak because it wasn't major enough to soak to the surface of the mattress. I had been sleeping on a mold pillow for over a year. Inhaling mold spores and having them on my skin. Shortly after disposal of that bed and the purchase of a new one, my hives went away. I was thankful my marriage lasted through that period of my life because I was a wreck. I was not myself while I was fighting that battle, because I could not see myself getting over it. I could only envision living my entire life with that condition, and it caused severe depression. Anyway, I thought I would share that with you to let you know that there is hope. If the doctors can't seem to find the root of the problem, don't lose hope. Take matters into your own hands and search every possible detail of your daily routine to see what could be the cause.

Last time they cleared up after a week or two, these are different and the swelling of my face is up and down. But I've been prescribed piriton and that should clear it up within a few days, so today I'm just enjoying a day off. :D

I do not have any lingering effects to my knowledge. I was glad to find out it was the cause as well. I am grateful to not have the hives any longer. It sucked bad.

They prevent you from contracting a more severe illness I think we were told in school. For example, someone with a nut allergy, would be far more ill if they ate a nut and didnt have any alergy to prevent their body from telling the person it was bad for them.... or some **** like that :dft002:amazed

I'm never against new people. I think Rams and I are on the same page here.
