Actually, it's not the ice storm at all - that all passed and melted last week. Southern WV got hit with a pretty powerful line of thunderstorms Wednesday evening, and that knocked about 150,000 homes out. Take all that and add it up with the face that my roads blocked both ways by trees and power lines.. talk about cabin fever. :angry:

apparently last night when I was sleeping a spider bit my left hand right between my index finger and middle finger. After I got to class my hand started swelling up big time. I had to ice it while I gave a presentation. It hurts. Bastard spider!

Sitting here playing stupid computer games and waiting for the Fed Ex truck to pull up with my 3Gs. The tracking status says out for delivery. I keep thinking I hear it coming from far away and I hold my breath and then the sound is gone. It's like 12:35 in the afternoon and it says will be here by 3:30pm. This is killing me! I think I am not a very patient person. Did I mention this wait is killing me?? Where are you Fed Ex man???

Ok, since the last time I posted the door bell has rung 3 times, first it was a guy wanting to know if I wanted my house painted, no, then my mother was at the door in an unexpected visit, jeez, then it was my twins being dropped off from summer school, OMG, I'm going crazy!.
Not to mention, all the trucks I have been hearing were not my imagination, I forgot it's trash day on our street so I am hearing them every few minutes.
All the trucks are sounding alike but I know the sound of the brakes on my Fed Ex man's truck, isn't that kind of sad?

Ok, I got it! The fed ex guy showed up at 3:10 finally. I had several problems because I forgot to update my itunes from the beta version for 3.0. So it basically messed up the phone and just left it in recovery mode and would not let me activate or sync. I had to run a few errands in between doing this so I finally figured out I had to trash my itunes and download again. That finally worked. So around 9pm I finally got to really check it out. It is really fast and I love the voice control although it called my cousin Amy a few times when I was trying to ask it to play the Killers, but it got Toby Keith and Journey right away. It also got all the names pretty good too. The video is very cool and I like the camera too. I don't see too much need for the compass, but neat none the less. All in all I am very happy. Have only received text messages tonight not phone calls so I am still not sure about the reception in my house that was not very good with 3g, but this 3gs seems to have more bars in the house so we shall see. Anyways, thats my update!

Just got back from the midnight showing of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. It was flipping amazing!!!!! I have never said that about a Harry Potter movie before...hell, i don't say it about most movies, but I loved it.

On a side note: I think this could be because I have read books 1-5 sooooo many times that it was very obvious to me when something was left out of them. This book I read the weekend it was released and I haven't read it since, so it wasn't so obvious what was left out. That could have increased my enjoyment of the movie.

Either way, I loved it!!!!! :dft010:smiling
