Music/Video memory upgrade

Hi

I read somehwere that the iphone's memory is split in two. one chip for the application memory and another for the music/video. I find that the 7.3gig usuable memory is wayyy to small. I would be happy with 16gigs. I guess when a 16gigs iphone come out this should be possible. Is there already a method to do this with a jailbroken iphone?

NO.

Why did you buy the phone if you knew that 8GB was too small? Also the other 0.7GB will not be available ever, as it's reserved for firmware etc. Also, when you buy something that says 8GB it's never actually that size.....it's just below that size.
