SMS alerts not working

I have been running 1.0.2 for quite some time without issues.

I had a custom sms alert on my iphone and it was working up until just a couple of days ago.

All of the sudden when I get a text it just vibrates while my phone ringtone continues to work fine.

I decided to bite the bullet and upgrade from 1.0.2 to 1.1.2. I went through everything and now I have my iphone jailbroken with 1.1.2 but the sms alert still won't work! I need this for work. Any ideas?

Ok, I'm not sure what happened but it was working fine up until today.. the ringer for calls works fine though.. anybody know what to do? i'd really appreciate the help :)
