Hi, I'm new to this great & informative site and I have been reading all the posts regarding the 1.1.2 firmware and Jailbreaking. My problem is I have the latest firmware and cannot downgrade to 1.1.1? I tried holding down the power and home key and then holding the Option key (PM G5) but then my IPhone disappears from my list on the left side so what do I do then? Am I reading this incorrectly? There seems to be so many downloads just to downgrade back to 1.1.1 I am hopping that someone comes up with a simpler way to do this. I would like to jailbreak my phone but it seems at time impossible to figure it out?
Any help would be very much appreciated, I have been pulling out my hair these past few days trying to figure out what the heck I am doing, it is very easy to get confused on what you downloaded and what is needed to download and some post do not tell you if using a Mac or PC is needed? Anyway looking forward to hearing from you smart guys & gals.
