iPhone and apptapp

i have an unlocked iphone, and i wanna use apptapp to put installer on it. will it update my iphone and re-lock it again or w/e?

basically, is it safe to use one of those programs on an unlocked iphone cuz it says something about updating.

Putting apptap (aka installer) on your phone won't update it at all :)
