Help! Iphone problems!

I keep getting the message, This Accessory is not made to work with iphone. The screen also fades to white and it will not charge nor will my pc recognize it. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!!

are you using an ipod accessory??? because not all ipod stuff work on the iphone

No. Its in the dock that came with it.

I tried but it didn't work. How do I remove the SIM card?

you'll need a paper clip or any thing similar and just stick it into the small hole on the top of the iphone and the sim tray will pop up

Are you sure it's the dock that came with the iPhone? Or an iPod dock? They look similar.

It's most likely some kind of USB error; I would recommend restoring and then trying to dock, but you can't due to your phone not be recognized by your PC.

Look around, there have been several threads on iPhones not be detected. At least one should help you solve the issue.
