Just added this app, and once I discovered how it works, was really blown away by the idea.
It's a 16-note loop creator - so you can create your own melodic loops. There's an octave contoller (3 levels), a slider controller and basic synth controls. At first I thought it sounded really horribly distorted and couldn't make sense of it. Then I tilted the phone back and discovered that the resonator and cutoff filters are controlled by the accelerometer! How cool is that ...
It's very beta, and the buttons are tiny and tricky to toggle - but I just thought it was a really amazing idea to physically control the sound by the angle at which you're holding the iphone.
Anyone want to develop an iTheramin? :)
