I am new to the forum so my question may already have been answered in earlier discussions.
I am not having any luck getting my iphone VPN Network connection to my base computer working.
I have contacted my network providor and they have givem me the network address, user ID and password. They have configure the network to use L2TP and checked that everything is working at their end and that they can connect to me OK.
Problem is that iphone asks for "account, password and secret" so I don't know exactly what I should enter in these fileds.
I contacted Apple and they confirmed the iphone is set up for 40 bit encryption and that I should turn RSA Security ID on, although my network provider does not think this is correct. Apple also say to "Send all traffic" ON and "Proxy" OFF.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Apart from that evrything is working fine - Yahoo Mail push, ipod MP4 video conversions, visual voice mail, WiFi - what a fantiastic product Apple have created.
