What would make you switch to a contract/locked iPhone?

I have an unlocked iPhone (1.1.1) using Orange in the UK and it is by far the best phone/PDA I've owned, and I've been through a few.

However, I am starting to think that moving to O2 and a contract may well be inevitable if Apple were to make A2DP and video available.

And who's to say that with the release of the SDK in February, and all the cool apps that will follow, we would not be able to use them on an unlocked phone?

A2DP support would make me switch tomorrow.

What would make you switch?

I switched from Orange to O2 mid contract - mostly because the Orange signal is dreadful in my cave. I have to climb up the mountainside and stand on a goat to get a signal.

O2 on the otherhand - full bars everywhere. So switching made sense to me - and I get to always have the latest Itunes and iphones softwares rather than having to deliberately maintain the old and buggy versions necessary to stay unlocked.
