So I download installer off my phone through that slovix website, and it puts installer and SSH on my phone. I did this and I have 1.1.1 and now my phone won't sync to my computer at all. I'm so angry at myself for making that mistake someone please help me!!! I'm not good with this modding stuff, so I have no idea what to do! Please I hope I'm not screwed forever someone pleaseeeee hellppppp meee. :embarrassed::embarrassed::embarrassed:

I don't know what the problem is but I don't understand why some of you guys use such shady websites.... slovix....
I used jailbreakme.com when i was on 1.1.1 and never had (or never heard of anyone having) problems. I keep hearing problems about slovix.

Stupid but... have you tried rebooting the phone?

Will iTunes recognize your phone? If so, then restore. If not, try a hard reset (Hold both power and home buttons for 30 seconds.)

No, itunes nor my computer will not recognize my phone. Also the hard reset wont work either, it won't even go into recovery mode.

try getting your phone in restor mode by holding the sleep wake button + home button.. when the phone turns off continue to hold the home button but release the sleep wake button...

then Itunes should recognize the phone in restore mode but make sure you restore to 1.1.1 and not update to 1.1.2 by shift clicking restore and locating your firmware 1.1.1 on pc... (dont have a mac)

Edit: oh i see it wont go ionto restore.. hmmm

Can your phone boot? and can you get wifi signal to visit Jailbreakme.com?

K im on it now, but I clicked install appsnapp and it took me to this blank page and nothing happened.

try again your browser should close and you should see progress of the install unless slovix patched the tiff exploit when you used theirs.

does your phone charge at all? maybe try plugging it into the wall outlet to get juice flowing and then to your pc.

Yeah it patched the tiff exploit it says, and yes it charges on walls, and Ive tried plugging it in to the wall outlet and then to PC but nothing happens. :frown: Man thanks so much for your help, I just hope my phones not permanently screwed!

damn I'm stumped its one of those moments when i wish the phone was in my hands... are you sure your trying to put it in restore correctly... while connected to itunes?

Is this even if the phone wont sync with the comp?? Also do you guys know if theres any way possible I could just uninstall jailbreak and SSH without restroing or puittting in recovery mode, since none of thos work?

Wooowwww, so now it says activate iphone/// connect to itunes out of no where but itunes still wont read it?

Try this are you on a pc?

If so right click my computer> goto properties> select the hardware tab> and then device manager... see if there are any conflicts if not the right click anywhere in device manager and "scan for hardware changes" or "scan for plug and play devices" not sure which it is...
see if it picks up your phone

Hmm it does nothing, and the computer still wont read it, so now Im stuck in recovery mode :( but Im happy its finally there, any suggestions guys?

hmmm ok i would say leave the phone in recovery and reboot the pc... take it all the way down and up... I know its simple but try.... maybe then Itunes will see it... its worth a shot i know your desperate lol

well ibrickr can boot it out of the activation portion but thats not gonna help with your itunes problem...

try uninstalling itunes and and reinstalling it if you cant get to another pc...
I'm leaving work now i'll check back when i get home and can research more.

Alright!! glad I can be of some assistance.... and "IF" you jailbreak again use jailbreakme.com... dont let this experience deter you its just not the same w/o apps IMO.
