The UK keyboard does not display or write the £ symbol, only $.

If I select Japanese, I can get the yen symbol OK.

Any ideas?
Anyone else able to write the £ symbol?

There are 2 screens of symbols - from the main text entry screen, press the button to the left of the space bar to get to the screen with numbers, then press the button to the left of the full stop to get to the screen with the £ sign on.

Yes, I was aware of that. That's how I can get the Yen symbol.

The £ isn't there, even though the space bar shows I'm using the UK keyboard.

Strange, the £ sign is next to the ¥ sign on my phone. In that case I can't help I'm afraid.
