nice.
Does the case have a smooth/hard plastic feel, or a softer rubber feel to it?

Thanks. Never wanted to hack the phone until now!!! Summer board? I'll search it. Is it easy/safe to do? I'm kind of afraid of freezing/locking or having problems upgrading.

what firmware are you at?

thanks for complements, its not to hard to install software. If you have installer.app, click on it and find the new Summerboard (3.0b?? i think) and donwload that, and then it comes with a bunch of default ones but i downloaded this one (phiberglass) and also revolver which sets your wallpaper as your background in the main menu which is sweet but i like the overall look and feel of this one. Oh and this is on firmware 1.1.1

I acquired the exact same setup when purchasing the phone. My phone has yet to actually be touched by human hands since coming out of the box.

Quality products all the way.

i totally agree. quality always wins in the end, as opposed to buying a $10 piece of crap case that ends up not protecting and later damaging your iphone. either go big or go home!!

My only complaint, my one little iffy, is that the Agent18 is slippery. Easily resolved if you like tarting it up with stickers! I sure did. :D

Just did thr 1.1.2 this morning through iTunes. Had a freezing issue but all ok now.
Is there a step by step jailbreak, summerboard install anywhere. I would love the leopard look in this thread.

ITs the program in the main menu that shows up after you jailbreak your phone. you use it to download anySim or summerboard or whatever you want..

Is there a physical store I can pick this up? I live in Chicago and wondering is a major retailer carries it?

Just ordered one after my Seidio came apart when I dropped my phone from about two feet above the ground yesterday. Scuffs courtesy of Seidio. Still love the way the Seidio hugs the phone though the Agent18 is a close second and protects better.

By far the best case. Had the clear seido case and it was horrible. Lint was visible under neither within a week. The black agent 18 eco shield is perfect with the screen protector sold on apples website. Just remember to follow the directions and use scotch tape when applying

It would be nice if Agent 18 made a holster for this case. I'm getting used to carrying it in my pocket, though.

I will not disagree that the case is good...but there are issues that I think are important to consider:

1. The case is slippery. No if ands or buts about it. It has slipped from my hands more than once. This is a stupid design flaw as there are plastic alternatives that have a gripping feel without the lint issues (stay away from iskins....what a lint magnet).

2. There are plenty of reports that this case is scratching the iphone so I would suggest that you put on and remove it slowly and carefully.

I would also suggest that you look at e-grips. I have been using them for my other phones for a while now and they will minimize the slipperiness quite well.

negatives for some are posotives for others. i actually like its " slipperyness".

I have the clear version of this case. When I took my iPhone out of the case, it seems like the case scratched the hell out of the back of my phone. turned out to be case-poop. Wiped it off, bought a cheapo screen protector and slapped it on the back of the phone, and put the case back on. Hope this protects against potential scratches.

Anyway, on my last trip to Japan, I bought this pouch with a belt loop. Fits the phone+case and a few extras. it has a pocket in front so you can put cards or bills in it. A pocket on the side where you can put more bills in it. Personally, I put my earphones there. :tounge:

I have never had an issue with the scratching. I do not know how it could possibly scratch the phone. The case does not have any sharp surfaces, the case seamlessly connects together to the other half when putting it on. Maybe I am lucky, however sounds to me like some viral anti-marketing. Just a guess.

No, it's not. I have the case and where one of the two seams run down on the inside back of the case I have a narrow scratch that runs down the length of the phone. If I had known about this I would have used a fine sandpaper to even out the seams, and that's what I would suggest to anyone that buys this case and doesn't want such a scratch. Perhaps their manufacturing process differs from time to time.

I don't know why I said "Very Sleep". Maybe the iPhone make me say sleep instead of sleek? idk.
