I vote Joe the official sherrif of EiP!

He is ALWAYS keeping conflict from happening, and it is much appreciated. I give you mad props Joe for the crazy peace-keeping.

And so this has something to do with the iPhone... ummm... who else thinks the youtube icon looks way saweet?!?

Anyone who helps keep the peace around here is ok by me. I think people are getting a little frayed around the edges these days having waited so long for this device. Patience seem to be wearing thin.

I'm hoping it's not going to be that way as we all are standing in line waiting to buy this thing. We may have to quickly clone ol' Sheriff Joe and put one at each Apple and ATT store. :smile:

HAHA! Yes, I totally agree. We must be horrible to live with in real life, half the peopole on here scare me sometimes because they get... umm... "testy". Anyway, that's what I am going to do for the next nine days, research cloning and build a machine. =]

Haha, I s'pose I should explain. Joe is a member of EiP who is always constantly reminding us to play nice with the other children, and I just wanted to make this thread to tell him "Thanks" and that it doesn't go un-noticed. =]

The recent press release indicates WPA2 is supported. It also indicates 802.11g so it should support the latest security protocols.
You would know about security, wouldn't you?!?

Anywho, those are just a few examples of Joe being sherrify. There are many more, thank you for keeping our Forums safe!

i would like to put my name in the ballot box for sherrif of EI
i think i do a good job of keeping the peace....
i propose an election...
but first a debate...

chris should set the time and make a thread for the debate....
and for the election...everyone privatley send their vote to chris....
he will announce the winner after say 20-30 min...

(im not crazy, but this is a killer way to pass time)

I don't try to pretend to be a moderator or admin here, I just hate to see people be rude to new members that haven't quite gotten the feel for the board and its old timers. And with the excitement building as we get closer and closer to the 29th, we're going to continue to get more and more new members everyday.

But I've been out for summer since 5/23. Of course that will slow down when we go back in the first week of August.

Haha, thanks to everyone who has striven to keep peace. Try to remember that everyone's tensions are high as we get near the 29th, and conflict is very likely to happen. Everyone has different perspectives, life would be lame if we didn't. =P =]

Oh yes and start up is a very busy time. I've got two teenagers in two different HS marching bands, so the Fall will be a very busy time for me as well.
