Folks,
I just recently got a new phone ( not an Iphone) for my gf that is part of my family plan but yesterday she got a brand new iphone from her employer.
My question is
if I would to jail break and bypass activation on the iphone , will I be able to restore it back to 1.1.1 ( virgin state ) .
Should I use the one step tiff exploit by visiting the jailbreak_something.comI would eventually activate the phone but I have to wait for the stupid rebate to be processed before I can activate my gf's Iphone or else I loose the 100 bucks mail in rebate for the other phone.
