View Full Version : Help! YouTube and Itunes Store doesn't work

My friend recently jailbreaked his phone using Tinman's guide and now he cannot connect to YouTube or Itunes Store. YouTube is stuck on loading and Itunes store says it cannot connect. Phone is not unlocked for use with any carrier. He is connected WiFi. Safari works but not YouTube and Itunes. He wasn't logged in his Itunes account when he restored and jailbreaked the phone. Could this be the reason causing it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Has your friend re-synced since jailbreaking?

I think that may be the problem with the iTunes store (as it sets itself to whatever store you have on iTunes (USA, UK, Canada etc). Youtube requires you to replace the files manually.

There is n quick patch though, add the source http://i.unlock.no to your installer and download the youtube activation patch, restart and voila :D

The phone is still locked to At&T but jailbreaked to install apps. I thought this patch was only used when you unlock your iphone for another carrier.

Strange. I'd take it up with AT&T then.
