I ran ver. 1.1.1 for a bit when I had the phone (new) and I downgraded to ver 1.0.2 because I heard of the flaws of ver. 1.1.1. They just came out with ver. 1.1.2 so I am wondering if it's okay to upgrade to ver. 1.1.2. I want to run the app. "stack" on the iphone and thats the only reason why I want to upgrade.
Should I avoid this upgrade and just wait it out?
Thanks in advance.

Are you jailbroken or unlocked? If not then there really isn't a reason NOT to upgrade.

Youngbinks,
I am really unfamiliar with the term jailbroken even though I see it all the time on here. I am assuming jailbroken is where you have different applications such as summerboard, etc. and unlocked is where you can used it with any services? Correct me if I am wrong.
But I bought the iphone from the at&t store and service through at&t. So my phone is jailbroken?

if you didnt jailbreak it then it is not... it is stock... jailbriken is something that you have to do to it, [summerboard, etc.] unlock is when you are using it through another service other then att...
seems that you are still stock...
