View Full Version : any sim cannot unlock this phone

i get this message when i run anysim and try to unlock my phone. anysim can not unlock this iphone. please restart after any sim is finished. what do i do to fix this?

would that work? do it step by step or what?i never had my iphone unlocked in version 1.0.2. i bought it right when it came out so it had the oldest version. now its 1.1.1

Search. Read. And then Search and Read some more. *ALL* of the information you need is out there.

If you're looking for someone to hold your hand, perhaps you're better off offering to pay someone to unlock your phone for you.

umm i have looked. nothing out there says anything about a phone unlocked using 1.1.1 unless its new from the box. and the other ways say that you can only do it if you unlocked your phone in 1.0.2 then upgraded. none of those apply to me.

If you have never unlocked and you have 1.1.1(DO NOT goto 1.1.2) can you do
1.jailbreakme.com get Appsnapp,BSD and openssh
2.use the unlock method from modmyifone..

EDIT: Assuming you are with ATT(as iphone customer) and have never jailbroken and/or unlocked.

yea i have 1.1.1 and have never unlocked or tried to until i updated to 1.1.1. i went to jailbreakme.com and got the appsnapp and the installer icon on my iphone. then got bsd and ssh. then i ran anysim and it says cannot unlock this iphone.
