This will go on sale the day of the iPhone. I saw an AT&T guy wearing one today, he said they have them in stock. Cool.

The Jawbone has been available since December through Cingular/AT&T stores. It is much larger then most others, and the noise cancellation is very good. For the money, I prefer the Jabra JX10.

We don't even know yet whether the iPhone will support a stereo bluetooth profile. We haven't seen the A2DP profile posted on any of the specs. Hopefully we'll be pleasantly surprised.
I'm ordering one this week, specifically to use for the iPhone.
Among all the BT headsets currently in the market, the Jawbone is the best right now.

I just got it today...
Here are pics next ot the iPaq for size... It is kind of big but sounds and holds on your ear NICE! Gives you extra earbuds (2 sit it in the ear and 2 are kind of outside the ear) also gives you 3 extra ear wraps...GREAT noise cancellation. $119 at Cingular, and like $99 at cdw.com.

Look at the silver in middle toward the top... you push right on the grey raised bump... the line between the Grey and black is the status light.. blinks white about very 10sec.

Please excuse my ignorance, never owned one of these...but, do you recharge the entire headset or is it a battery you pop out and charge like most digital cameras, etc? I'm definitely interested in getting one of these eventually so I can have wireless convo throughout my apartment or in the car.

It has a USB cable that you just plug into it.

I just picked one up from work (bestbuy) and sold 3 in a matter of minutes to some customers of mine. I sync'd a Treo 750 and tested it. Voice quality is great. I've been using the Motorola headsets for a while now and the difference is noticeable. It's charging now, i will have a more in depth analysis later.

There was a wired version originally with an external cancellation box. It has been around for some time. It's based on military technology. Very cool. I have always wanted one.

I have had mine for about 5 months and I absolutely love it. I am on the phone all day and I never run out of power as long as I charge it every night. This headset may be a little bigger than most but it works better than anything else I have ever had. And btw I have had probably 20+ BT headsets since about 2002 when I bought my first Jabra that had the stupid dongle attached to my phone since the phone didn't even have bt yet.

Pricing will vary anywhere from $100 online to $140 at a retail store.
I just picked up a black Jawbone headset yesterday. In two words... bad ass.
Today I was on the freeway in my roadster, top down, loud exhaust. My friend could hear me perfectly clear, as if I was home sitting in a quiet room talking to him. I could hear him fine as well.
Best BT headset, I've ever owned. I owned a couple of Jabra's, including the JX10, and a few Motorola's.

I just have to say that I have had quite a few BT headsets, and the Aliph Jawbone is the only one worth bothering with. I drive around New York quite a lot in my 1970 London Taxi, which sounds somewhwre between a tractor and a tank inside, and people can't even tell that I'm in a vehicle. Nothing short of amazing. The only thing that is paramount is that you have to make sure it is a snug fit, and that the little white nubby makes contact with your jaw.
Taking time to get the fit right (I would suggest buying a pack of Jabra eargels for about $9 from Radioshack) . If you want real quality, and don't mind spending for it, a custom earmold at a hearing aid shop would be a great option (I'm considering this)

My Jawbone has been shipped, so I should have it, hopefully by Saturday. I got it from Amazon (new) for $79.00 plus $4.99 shipping. It sounds like a bad-ass headset. I love the noise cancellation feature.
