Might be an option if you get shut out on launch day. I don't want to pay an extra $100 though.

The amazon 'preorder' page I posted last week has changed

Now it just says that they will email you when it becomes available.

I suspect that there will be a lot of companies taking these so called 'preorders' with no actual ship date. If you decide to go this route be wary and only deal with reputable dealers. There will be a LOT of people out there trying to make a quick buck.
