Firmware 1.1.2 and Jailbreak

If I decide not to update the firmware and later on need to restore the software will I be able to restore 1.1.1 or will my computer try and install 1.1.2? I am an ATT customer, but I am worried my phone will get bricked. Any have an answer?

If your OEM FW is 1.1.1, then expect a restore from iTunes to be 1.1.1.

Now, if you upgrade iTunes, it may restore it to the newest FW.
