On my current At&t plan, without the iPhone i have the 2100 minutes family talk, and unlimited text messaging. If i would buy the iphone and add it to the account would the unlimited text messaging work on my iphone?

You can keep your existing family talk plan. Only service you'll have to add is the unlimited data plan for $20.00 a month. The data plan comes with 200 text messages a month but you already have unlimited text messaging and I believe that overrides the 200.

Call customer service and make sure you can add the $20 unlimited data plan to your existing plan. Most likely you can, so you're all set.
