Phone Froze!! HELP

My phone is froze in my inbox. I tried to load it in itunes but it won't recognize it. I tried to turn it off and it won't. I also cant receive phone calls. Can someone please tell me what to do??

Try to reset it by holding down the sleep/wake button (at the top) and the home button until you see the Apple.
