How can I get it back. When I click on voicemail it just calls my voicemail.

Call yourself from your home phone and leave a message. Your iPhone will then ask you for voicemail password.

thanks that worked.. I dont remember putting a password so I started putting all this number and I guess it worked cause it stopped asking me for the pw.

Voicemail password is under Settings > Phone > Change Voicemail Password.
