just a small question, i live outside the US, can i just buy the iphone off the apple store website? then unlock it with some sort of unlocking software and use it where I live?

if so will all the feutures still work? ex: the ipod? or the wifi?

because i really want one, and looking at the prices on ebay wouldent it just be cheaper to buy it off their website and unlock it myself?

they might not ship it overseas .....if you can buy it an ship it to a US address..like a friend and have them forward it to you.....but unlocking has its own risks....and you may have to shell out a few bucks....or try your luck with the free app.... good luck.
