Playing your iPhone music in iTunes.

I have my iPhone hooked up to my work computer. It recognizes it, no problem but won't play any of the songs or videos on it. Is there a way to get iTunes to play the iPhone music like my iPod will?

iphone is strange in the sense that you cannot see the playlists when you plug it into itunes ... as of right now .. the only way to edit the iphone is to sync it ... its not as versitile as an ipod .. sorry

No I can see the lists and all the iPhone contents by opening it in iTunes. Just curious if there was any way to play it through iTunes.
