Is gmail push email ?
I have been getting my email instantly on Gmail account
it started a week or 2 ago

( yahoo push is dead for me)

Easiest way to explain push email is that any time someone would send you an email you would be instantly notified. In other words the email comes straight through without you having to manually check or wait till the desired time you chose your phone to check for new mails.
