I bought an unlocked Iphone
There was Installer App inside
I began to download apps without even thinking to homepage icons limitations
After a while the Installer icon disappeared (even if the program is still inside my iphone, of course)
Now I know I should have installed first Launcher and/or Summerboard
Is there a painless method to have back my Installer icon in order to disinstall useless icons and put only the programs aforementioned?
I tried yesterday to reinstall the program and almost bricked my Iphone (restoring etc)
Maybe thru Iphone directly...I don't know

please answer....for example is it possible to resolve it all with a webapp on safari that makes possible the scrolling on iphone homepage
that would be enough!

Did you install ssh onto your phone? If you did you might be able use an ftp client like cyberduck to uninstall some programs of install summerboard munually. If you didnt install ADH onto your phone there are more complicated methods of getting ssh onto your phone.

Other people correct me if im wrong, but i believe this might work.

thanks...i didn't install it so pls explain me the OTHER methods, 'cause the problem is I can't put anything inside iphone without restoring thus putting at risk the unlock

im not sure of any other site that will allow you to install a source via safari, but go to http://t i n y u r l.com/2uj9mc (http://t i n y u r l.com/2uj9mc). click yes when it asks you to install the source, and itll open up installer. install summerboard and youre good to go. just dont install and run the anysim app.

tried
it freezes my iphone
it shows the installer page..no icons..
got to restart the whole thing

Log in to the phone via SSH. Once you log in type

/Applications/Installer.app

That will open up the installer.app on the iPhone and you will be able to do whatever you need to do. You can also start any other apps this way as well.
