Buy preunlocked, or buy locked and unlock it myself?

Hey guys!

I just had a quick question. I can get an iphone, either unlocked or locked, for a pretty good price. The unlocked one is about $30 more expensive.

Is it worth it to do it myself and save 30, or should i play it safe and get it preunlocked out of the box?

I'm not a moron, so i'm sure i could figureout how to unlock it. I hacked my ipod so im sure there are a few similarities.

What do you guys think?

If you are good with a Pc/Mac and good at following instructions then I'd say do it yourself as all the tools to mod/unlock are freely available.

If you're not so good with following instructions then pay the extra $30
