iPhone sync?

Hi all,

I just recieved a new iphone, and as it has been unlocked, when i went to sync, it says: iPhone is synced with another itunes library, do you wish to erase this iphone and sync with this itunes library?

anyways, my question is, if i erase and sync, will it relock my phone?

I guess then, you mean this phone is new to you, because it's not new if someone has already synced to their computer.
