View Full Version : proper mods deletion then update

hey everyone, I have been lurking around for 2 months and finally have a valid question to ask. Basically I'm intrigued with the new apple update and want to get it, but I have modded my phone with apptap, the basic stuff.

My question is, what is the most thorough way to delete the mods and then be able to perform the update without ending up with a brick?

Normally I wouldn't be so frekent paranoid but this is my work phone so I absolutely need a working phone.

my understanding is as long as you have not "unlocked" your phone, you can just restore it. When you upgrade to 1.1.1, itunes will restore your phone, and then install the new firmware.
