The pic is of the white one but I hope they sell the black one but don't see a choice for it...anyone know?

Why don't you just buy them from the manufacturer direct:

They are way cheaper than what Apple is charging and they have black too.

They're on eBay also. They're still cheaper than Apple even after shipping costs.

I purchased a genuine sealed Apple iPhone power adaptor from eBay for $1.99. They're $29 plus tax + shipping in the Apple store. How do they get away with ripping people off?

I got one from the Houston store. They only had white, which I wasn't crazy about but grew to like it. However, my fiancé just got back from NYC and surprised me with a black one!! So some apple stores do carry them. The 5th avenue cube store does ( or did, I got the last one until their next shipment :p)
