View Full Version : Hard drive is full, can I move all my music?

Well, I've managed to fill my 140 GB hard drive on my computer with music, video, and pictures. Is there a way I can migrate my iTunes music to an external hard drive I purchased so that iTunes will still recognize it?

Yes. In iTunes under Preferences/Advanced/iTunes Folder Location. Just change the path to the folder you want all the music in and move it there.

I do the same thing for my music, video, and photo libraries. None of them are stored on my internal drive. It opens up a big hunk of space.

For the iTunes Folder Location, can I put my videos in there too?
