is it me or does YouTube on the iPhone need improvement on the quality...maybe its the video itself...not sure

most of the videos are shot with crappy cameras or webcams... the quality on the iphone is better than the youtube on the computer...

i remember there was a thread compaing the two and the quality was better on the iphone because the format h.264 was native for the phone.. OH and the quality of video is much better over wifi than edge...

Now i've only had my phone for a week or so and lazily have not hooked into a wifi connection yet, but when using edge doesnt it show the video in a low res quality?

yea the quality is droped down so it can be buffered faster

oh ok that makes perfect sense ...so its the wifi that makes the resolution better well whenever i get a connection i'll chk good lk on the info skiz-

I haven't actually expiremented too much with it but I'm wondering if the youtube has two (or more) copies of the videos in different resolutions. That said, are all of the you tube movies available in the lower res for the iphone?
