What to do when start screen shows itunes+arrow+plug??

I was following the youtube video (unlocking iphone tutorial ver.2) on unlocking the iphone when i was trying to put the iphone in restore mode. where a yellow triangle with a exclamation mark should show up on the screen...but instead of the triangle the plug and the itunes icon showed up and won't go to any other screen....and plugging into itunes will restore the iphone into some newer version of iphone firmware, and I'm trying to input firmware 1.0.2 into the iphone....plz help.

You have firmware 1.1.1 you have to downgrade it.

You held the power and home button for too long... at 10 seconds... release the power button only... hold the home button until iTunes prompts you to restore.
