apple admitted that there are some problems with a few of the ipod touch screens (as in not bright enough) compared to the iphone. i never owned an iphone so how can i tell if my ipod touch screen is not up to par?

I'm pretty sure that if you hadn't noticed anything or had a comlaint about anything before you read about the defects, then your itouch is fine.
