create ringtone button in new itunes functionality

so, i have 400+ gigs of music that i have ripped from cd's. IF i hit the create ringtone button for any of these tracks, am i then charged .99¢ for that ringtone?

no. you can only create ringtones using the functionality within itunes with music purchased from the itunes store. you cannot use your own music ripped from cd's to create ringtones in itunes - you'd need other software/a hack to do this (i use itoner)...

i use the manual method of editing out a 30 second clip from a song, import it to itunes...then change the extention of the file. It was detail on this site before.

Further more, i only need 1. Just an off the wall song that lets me know it's my phone, not someone elses.

Pink Floyd - "3 pigs" is my choice.
