Hey there... i just got my iPhone this week, so i was looking for a bit of protection for it until i decided which temporary solution to go with. I use an iSkin evo for my iPod video and i love it, so i might go with the Revo for my iPhone.
Anyway, being that i have a skin for my iPod, the sleeve that came with the it has not been in use for many months. I dug it out of the original iPod box, and upon casual examination it appeared to have about the same interior texture as the iPhone cloth/wipe thing, so i figured it might be worth a shot. I stuck in the iPhone, and it fit surprisingly well. It's not 100% snug, and about 1 cm of the top of the iphone is still uncovered. It's also a little annoying to take out when you get a call, but hey... it's temporary.
So, i realize this is not exactly a big deal, and i'm sure some other people have had the same idea... just thought i'd mention it because it works a lot better than i expected it to, and iPhone protection seems to be a hot topic... especially for new users like me.
