AMEX said NO price protection since Nov,2006??

I called my AMEX today and tried to claim the $200 for my 8GB, they said there is no price protection since Nov,2006? is that true?
Anyone has the price protection claim form?? Please!
Why there are some forum members can get back the $200 credit.

good luck with that. Read the diff amex threads. One guy posted the link on where to fill out the claim online. Should be on the first page somewhere. Sorry its late and I am too lazy to find it.
