Has anyone been able to sync a roadrunner email account successfully? If so, how? On the phone last night with Apple support and we couldn't get it working right. Either something to do with the SSL or the network. Apple seemed to think (read: want to blame) that it was the RR network not wanting to go through EDGE. I don't know. Any thoughts?

You have to remove the :25 that came over in the sync from your computer. You have to remove the outgoing user name and password.

You may not be able to send via edge as RR only allows sending from its own IP range.

I'm on Kansas City Road Runner and I can send emails while away from home.
My settings are only filled out in the "Incoming Mail Server" area.
I have nothing filled out in the "Outgoing Mail Server" area.
This is working for me. Maybe give it a try?

Do a search on road runner as a number of people have offered different solutions that work under different circumstances.

I live in florida and my road runner mail works fine on my iPhone
