I have been looking for a really good screen protector for my iphone. I have noticed that no att stores carry this. Is there a place I can get one local, at like a bestbuy? If not what and where is the best place to get this.
I have found this one
http://store.everythingiphone.com/content/accessories/15-43--2528.htm
is that a good one? or is it just a thin peice of film?
Thanks!

Apple sells them they are amazing. They are 14 dollars for 2 of them. No adhesives they work like magic. You just peel them off their plastic backing and place it on the screen it sticks really good. To take it off all you need is a piece of scotch tape wrap it around your finger tap the edge and pull off. Plus they are washable and u can use them many times. Worth the 15 bucks and you cant tell they are on ...

They also provide a smoother surface... your finger gliiiiides across the screen.

The BEST iPhone protector is from ShieldZone! It completely covers the entire iPhone, front and back. It protects from scratches and everything. I got mine for only $25 and it has a lifetime warranty from scratching.
You should look into it! its awesome. Cant even tell I have a protector on it really.

I agree with this 10000000%. I just put mine on at work and it was super easy as long as you pay attention to what you are doing, take your time and make sure you have dusted the app area...
With my PSP, DS, GPS, Blackberrys, etc, etc I have used every type of screen protector and I always liked the Invisible Shield but did not like the rubber feel of it, especially for the iPhone.
The $15 Power Support Crystal Film set (2) is pretty dern impressive. It is WAY clear and will smudge but not as easy as the bare screen.
$$ well spent IMO.

NO DOUBT!!!:laugh2:
I've had 2 iPhones & 2 Invisible Shields (one for each). Never had a problem. Works better and is a better product than any of the others I tried.

I just installed one of the Crystal Films on my iPhone and it was very easy to install. I'm used to installing screen protectors on Treos where it takes 3-4 tries and all kinds of finagling with a credit card to get the bubbles out. This one went on smoothly with no bubbles. I also got a Griffin vertical pouch case which I really like. I got them both at my Apple store.

For the body maybe, but not for the screen, which this thread is about. Crystal film is the best, and I've compared all three of the full-body shield maker's screen protectors to it.
The Crystal film is also easier to apply (assuming you aren't too much of a klutz). No need to futz around with solutions, squeegees, waiting to dry, etc.

Agree. Inv Shields are good but they WILL give you a rubbery feel and WILL NOT be as clear as the Crystal Film. I used the IS on my PSP and I eventually had to remove it and just risk it. Oh, and I only used my fingers to put on the Crystal Film at my desk at work.. so friggin easy....and is sick clear..and not to mention isn't it CHEAPER (remember you get 2 per pack)?

The Invisible Shield (the best in my opinion) is on sale now with an unadvertised special.
They are all 50% off. So instead of being 24.95 they are now 12.48.

me & my friends have been using Martin Fields for years for all our pda, pda phones, psp, and now the iphone screens. this brand by far had been the best one we have used across all our gadgets. the film is thicker & sturdier than the other competitors we've tried but it does not hamper the screen sensitivity at all. fully washable/reusable as well (although i prefer using scotch tape to remove the dust that gets stuck to it). we order straight from the site w/no problems at all.
http://www.martinfields.com/US/dis_product.asp?model=apple_iphone&modeln=iPhone&prod_type=screen
and applying them after you've turned on your hot shower to steam up the room proved to the best dust buster coz it makes all floating dust settle. :)

That is no special price since the only include 1.
You can get 2 bodyguardz (the same thing) for the $24 so all they did was sell you 1 cover for $12...

I have this one too and it is the best. I think its called anti-glare screen protector and can be found on apple's store website. I haven't had one finger print on it since I put it on. I believe it was $10 for 2.

I agree with the other posters about the crystal film protector. You can barely even tell it has one on the phone. I know the package says they are washable but has anyone actually tried washing theirs? I attempted to wash it but couldnt figure out how to dry it without leaving lint on it. So I let it air dry and was stuck with water spots. Any suggestions?
I dont like lint and mine has some lint under it so I removed it to put the 2nd one on and the same thing happened on that one. I would love to get these completely lint free.
Someone asked for a pic of the iPhone with the crystal film on it. I dont have a close up of just the film but here is my phone with the Seidio Innocase and a CF...

I just installed the Crystal Film Set by Power Support. I dropped by one of my local Apple stores and they sell them. They come as a set of two protective film sheets for $14.95 (USD).

So far, so good. (eye-Fone knocks on wood)
I literally installed it about ten minutes ago. Only time will tell if it works for me. My concern, which I'll find out in the next few days, is if the film will hold up after I constantly put my iPhone in and out of my front pocket. I'm worried about it peeling pack or loosening, as well as getting dust under it. Other than this film, I normally carry a naked iPhone (no case; nothing).
It looks really good. Actually, it doesn't look at all--which is what I wanted. You won't notice it by just glancing at the phone. It doesn't mute any of the colors like the matte finish of the anti-glare film. This is the main reason I bought the Crystal version, as opposed to the anti-glare version.
I also haven't noticed any difference in touch sensitivity. Of course, I haven't used it much since installation.
Prior to installation, I sprayed just a little Windex on a clean cloth and wiped the front glass. I made sure the glass was completely clean and dry. Then I used the pre-installation film to ensure there was no dust. Then I laid down the actual protective film and used the edge of a credit card to smooth it out as I laid it down. It is important that you do not touch the "iPhone side" side of the actual film with anything--no fingers, no cloth, nothing.
I had to straighten it out a couple of times so that it fit perfectly. Tip #1: Use a piece of scotch tape and stick it to the outer side edge of the film to lift the film up for repositioning.
Oh yeah, work in a very dust-free environment. Tip #2: If you have a difficult time finding a dust-free room, I recommend going into a bathroom and steam it up a bit with a hot shower. Turn off the shower and let the steam subside. This helps to remove floating dust in the air. At this point, you can start putting on the film.

IMHO, Power Support Anti-Glare protectors are the BEST out there. They are a bit expensive, but they DO NOT smudge at ALL and they cut down all glare. No adhesive here, either. They are well worth the extra cash. Couple that with the Invisible Shield back and you're good to go "naked!" (I will say that the IS looks better on black iPhones. They are a bit "rough" on the white iPhone. I have the white and had the IS for a month. Already requested a warranty replacement. They take on the color of your pocket or case. The IS began to have a blue "hue" from being in my jeans pocket.)
