Do exactly that.. create a folder called ROMs in the Media directorty..then inside the ROMs..create another folder called NES and put the roms into the NES folder. I used winscp to do this..what program you using?

yessir, windows vista (professional edition, 32bit) to be EXACT
option 1:
Iam assuming you have jailbreaked your phone.
follow the instructions located here: http://hacktheiphone.com/iphone_install_ssh_windows.html
that will install the ssh client so you can change the files and such in the phone.
after you have the client installed..
go to this page: http://hacktheiphone.com/iphone_install_nintendo_emulator_windows.html
go to step 13 where it starts with logging into the winscp client. once you have logged into it, dont worry about installing the nes.app folder into the phone since you already have it. Just head to the part where it starts talking about roms. its starts at the paragraph: " Now double click the folder" so ctrl+f it for faster transition. follow that and you should be set. once you winscp installed you wont ever have to worry about it again...until
apple releases an update. Also you can add as many roms as you like. enjoy
option 2:
If you do not want to do that...use ibrickr:
http://cre.ations.net/creation/ibrickr
its very simple. It jailbreaks the phone for you and you can create folders and add files through it.
once you have ibrickr and have jailbreaked your phone..there should be 4 options.. click the "files" option. now you should be on a screen with a iphone on the side and 2 options upload files and create folder. dont bother with those 2 options yet. look at the Iphone on the right. it should have lots of this listed like "Applications/" "Library/" "system/"... look in that list for the folder called "var/"...its should be in the bottom. click on the folder and you should now be inside it with several other folders... find the folder called "root/" click on that and you should be inside it with 2 folders called "Library/" and "Media/". click on "Media/". Ok now that you are inside the "Media/" folder, this is where the 2 buttons on the left "Upload files" and "create folder" will come in handy. click on "create folder". it will bring up a box which says "Script Prompt: Folder Name", type in "ROMs", EXACTLY HOW I SPELLED IT AND WITH THE CAPITALIZATION AND THE LOWERCASE. hit ok and now you should see on the right in the Iphone that there is a folder called "ROMs". click on that folder and now you should be in it..it will have nothing in it so dont worry about that. click on "Create folder" again and this type make a folder called "NES", again..exactly how I typed it. now the folder should appear on the Iphone on the right. click on the "NES" folder and you should now be in it,again dont worry nothing will be in it. this is where you will be uploading your roms. click on the "Upload files" option and it will allow you to upload now. Just choose whatever roms you want to put in it and you are set. so next time you want to upload roms..just navigate to /var/root/Media/ROMs/NES and upload roms into it. the roms wont work unless you upload them into that exact folder.
Dont let the wall of text in the option 2 intimidate you..it is easier then the other one imo lol. GL.

An alternative way to transfer the roms is found here (http://www.modmyifone.com/wiki/index.php?title=AFP_iPhone_from_Finder&diff=3806&oldid=3802).
Worked perfectly for me since I was having problems with SSH.
Good luck!

Connect the phone to your usb cable, turn on itunes and then press and hold the sleep/wake button (top of the phone) and the button on the front of the phone at the same time. The phone will power off, (takes about 10-15 seconds if I remember correctly) as soon as it does let go of the button on the front of the phone while still holding the sleep/wake button. Itunes should pop up a message saying that it has found a phone in restore mode (or something along those lines, I am doing this from memory and it has been a while). Once that comes up you can release the button on the phone. Click restore in iTunes to restore the phone to normal mode (this will restore your phone to 1.1.4 so if you are on an earlier version you will need to download the firmware for that version (search this site for info on where to find that) and for the earlier version you will press Shift when clicking restore and then navigate to the firmware file you are looking for. If you are just restoring to 1.1.4 you can just click the restore button and it will work.
Once the phone has been restored it will reboot and be working again as a new phone. Then search this site for ziphone. That is the latest and greatest method to jailbreak and there are plenty of threads on how to use the program.
As I said this was all from memory and someone reading this may make corrections on my wording but the basics above will work to get the phone back to being a phone.

Ok so you said if i have an older firmware to hold the shift button while I click on restore... what next , I mean where do I find the file I need
Thanx

There are several posting on here with links to the previous versions of the firmware. Just search for firmware. You can also get them on modmyifone. The rest of the instructions are the same regardless of the firmware version you use.
When you click the restore button in iTunes it will install the latest version if your running an earlier one. So to load the earlier one you just use the shift-restore option and it will open a window allowing you to pick the file you wish to install from (1.1.3 for example). Once the phone has restored with the firmware using ziphone to jailbreak it is the same process no matter which version you have.

I was having quite the problem as of late. After going crazy installing applications and games. I tried to move some ROMs over to my touch but i could never connect via SSH I would always get Connection refused error and it would never let me connnect. I know the touch was on the network because I could ping it but could never connect to it. This was driving me nuts as I could do it on my 8 GB but now I have a 16 so I was going insane. Then yesterday my installer stopped installing apps. I would choose something to install it would download the source, install it and then I would never see any of the apps I downloaded. Convinced it was the 1.14, but after some digging around I found a fix that solved both of these problems. “The memory space on the iPod Touch/iPhone is broken into two partitions - the first partition contains the operating system/firmware/applications and is FIXED at only 300MB. The second partition contains your media (music, videos, settings, etc.). What you need to do is free space on your first partition and/or move your applications to your second partition.” - DerekVOF from iLounge (http://forums.ilounge.com/archive/index.php/t-216607.html)
This was how I solved the problem with the help of boss tools. Boss tools will move your apps to the second partition where there is lotsa room. I am sure this would work on a iphone as well
Uninstall all installed apps. (Drag yes I know)
Download Boss Tool repo source http://iphone.sleepers.net/repo.xml
Run boss tool
Select Free Space
Move Fonts
Move Ringtones
Move Apps
Restart device
Install OpenSSH
Finished After doing all this, everything was fine! My installer worked again I was no longer getting the mind numbing connection refused error when I tried to connect via SSH.
I have a feeling SSH requires some space on the 300 MB partition when it initially connects and when it cant find any it refuses the connection
Now time to play RBI Baseball on my touch!

Type NES ROMs for the iPhone/iTouch on google and watch the first YouTube link. It explains everything. But I also have a question. Sorry to ask it on your reply post, but I don't know how to post my own questions. When I finally download everything and I am aboot to drag the ROMs into my iPhone folder the only thing I see is a folder containing the pictures I made. I think my PC recognises the iPhone as only a camera, yet I have songs and what not on it. What do I do?

I have been doing this for hours and finally found a solution. Thanks. You have to have one of those crazy programs that acutally WORKS unlike the past five I've tried that didn't work on a mac. Who knew a PC would win this battle? So far it has.
