Problem with getting e-mail not automaticly

When i retriev my yahoo e-mail automaticly is not doing it i think there is a option to get the e-mail by its self every fiev min now he is not doing that only when i check manually then he is getting it all the e-mail please help me guys:angry:

Me personally, I wouldnt set it below every hour. If your phone is checking for e-mail it cant recieve calls during the process, they would just get voicemail. I leave mine at check manually. soon as you go to look at your inbox it checks to see if you have any mail. checking every 5 min would be pretty much like.. 288? times within a 24 hour period.. chances are all your calls made to you wont make it through....

ye i know that but if there is any option to check that because befre it was wroking fine ddint have any problem now i have now if i wont check manually ones a day nothing is coming please help thanks

My iphone can check email and talk on the phone just fine...

I could never get Yahoo! mail to check consistently. Sometimes it pushes just fine, other times hours go by, even though the default is set for 5 minutes. And sometimes it just sit, and sits and sits and tries to connect, but never does. I finally gave up on Yahoo! and switched back on my .Mac. Don't use gmail (hate it, but that is for another post) so not sure if that works any better. But my .Mac always works, as long as I have a edge connection.

Pretty sure the option to set how often to check isn't even available when you just have an yahoo account on your phone. I think Apple removed it in one of the updates.
